Notes from our forever familiesThanks so much, SPIKE and I would love to come, but we will be in California (his first trip). He is the love of my life and the BEST puppy on the planet. He has changed my life for the good and I’m completely in love with a small dog (which I never thought possible – I always loved my big dogs and thought small-dog people were crazy). I’m fortunate enough to be able to bring him to work with me once in awhile, so he’s not home all the time. PETFINDER was wonderful and I’ve told everyone about it. Three friends have gotten animals since I brought SPIKE home --- thanks for doing what you do to help these poor little creatures. ~Kathleen We adopted Tennison in March of 2006. He is a really sweet dog and is doing well! ~Chuck & Phyllis 10-28-2007 I just wanted to let you know how Chance was doing. We adopted him about a year ago. I was the one who couldn't make up my mind about which Cavalier puppy to choose. We chose Chance (we kept the name you gave him), who you guys called the whiney one. I know now why he got the name, only we call him our 'delicate flower' when he cries or whines. He is wonderful and we love him so much. I really wanted you to know that all of you at Freedom Rescue inspired me to work with homeless dogs. I volunteer at the Plainfield Humane Society on adoption days, every weekend. I have fostered 2 pregnant moms and their babies for 8 weeks. One of the moms was a pug and my mother in law adopted her! If it wasn't for seeing the work that you guys do with these puppies, I never would have thought of doing this. Thank you so much for saving these babies. Thank you again ~Janet
